According to your web site the wife of George Jr. is Elizabeth Ogg and several other sources agree with this. However, the Shipley's of Maryland 2002 Vol. 1 pg. 32 list Sarah Welsh daughter of John Welsh and Hannah Hammond as the wife. The children of the marriage of George Shipley Jr. are not in question as all sources show the same children. The Ogg surname is closely associated with the Shipley line. I have George Ogg born 1667 in Maryland as the father of two daughters both married to Shipley Brothers, One is Rebecca married to William Shipley and her sister Catherine married to George Shipley Sr. The son of George Sr. is George Jr. and there-in lies the confusion.
